Walk on water

I used to be so tired  
I used to take it slow  
Got fired before I got hired  
I’d rather watch the fish jump the boat  

I used to be so lazy  
Laying in my bed  
Driving myself crazy  
Dreaming of what I could have done instead  

Then a man came up to me  
He said: son, do you believe  
You can be who you are meant to be, if you follow me   

You can walk on water, if you try  
You can walk on water, if you dare to dive  
You can walk on water, if you learn to fly  
You can walk on water  

I used to be a fisherman  
I used to throw my nets  
On either side and wait a while  
Dreaming of what I could have done instead  

Then a man comes up to me
